Home and Garden for everyone

Are you thinking about upgrading to a newer and higher 16, 18 or 20 SEER rated central air conditioner? I spent a lot of time comparing SEER and EER efficiency ratings and tried to determine how much money I would be saving in my electricity bill. I had such great electrical savings that I had to make a video showing how much you could save by putting in a new high efficiency A/C unit.
Would you be surprised to know that only half of the new Air Conditioning change outs on homes in the Las Vegas Valley really needed to be replaced. Most of the time the AC can be repaired for far less. It's true and those unsuspecting soles that pay for it are keep unscrupulous air conditioning contractor companies in business. Now don't get me wrong there are many advantage like a warranty that make buying a new Air conditioner a good Idea. But don't be confused. The same technology from 20 years ago is still used today in the design of new air conditioning units. Yes the components of your home's HVAC get tired and worn out but most of them can be replaced. And you don't have to replace the whole air conditioner.
So don't get sold on the efficiency of a new air conditioning unit or lower power bills for your home. Unless you upgrade the SEER rating of the replacement AC unit it won't change your utility bills. If you have multiple components fail on your home's HVAC unit you are probably better off to replace rather than repair. If you take care of your AC unit and have it serviced once a year you can look forward to the next 25 years together.
If you do need a new air conditioner for you your Las Vegas home or just an air conditioner condensing unit, shop around. There are dozens of home air conditioner manufactures that sell in the Las Vegas, Henderson and the rest of the United States. Consider warranty as the most important factor when you buy a new air conditioner for you home. http://quickandeasyhomeandgarden.blogspot.com/2015/09/new-air-conditioner-or-repair-you-choose.html

New Air conditioner or Repair, You choose
New Air conditioner or Repair, You choose
Leaving in Las Vegas is such a challenge especially when it comes to the temperature. If you have plans of staying for long then you should get used to severe heat especially during the summer season. This is also the reason why Las Vegas residents are all hooked up to their Air conditioning units. A broken ac is such a big dilemma for almost everyone here and as much as possible, all ac units should work well when you need them the most. With that being mentioned, some residents are all torn up whether they are buying a new ac unit or have their old ones repaired. On that account, how can we actually know if we need to buy a new one or just save money and settle with our oldie but goodie ac systems?
I have dealt with this dilemma for quite a long time now and due to that I have mastered the consequences both of buying a new ac and getting a repair. I also had clues on when to do either of the two.
Let us start with the years your ac has worked for you. If you have a fairly new unit then most probably, it is still covered by the warranty. Thus, you can assure that when it breaks down it will not break the bank. Your warranty will pay for the fees and other services and with that, we can say that buying a new one is too early for you. You can still enjoy the benefits of your warranty.
When looking to replace the AC system check out myacprice.com
Next is I focus on the history of my AC repairs. If I know that my ac will not last longer then I prefer buying a new one than get a repair. AC repair with all the services and fees, is truly expensive and if your unit will need more of it in a year then you can sum everything up and the figure will fall closely to the price of a new Air conditioner system. Thus, the repairs will be cheaper but when accumulated, they are not worth it. You can add the stress and the hassle of all these repairs as well. http://quickandeasyhomeandgarden.blogspot.com
You can also know what you need upon asking the professionals hence, I always hire professional HVAC contractor to take a look at my unit for a checkup then from their point of view, what will they recommend. They know how ac works just by looking at the unit thus I trust their opinion. You just have to look for a reliable contractor that will not repair your unit to get your money. Look for someone who will tell you the truth about repairs or buying a new one. check out http://homeenergysaver.lbl.gov/consumer/help-popup/content/~consumer~nrr~air-conditioner

I recently got an Diversified breed. He is the cutest puppy ever, nevertheless bless is heart the excess hair is ridiculous. The Bissel would take 10 min's to clean this 6 foot rug caked in his fur. I made the choice to get some thing that specializes in cat dog or cat hair, I simply couldn't cope with it all about the place any longer. I took it out from the box the 1st time and believed exactly how good it appeared and proceeded to go right for the area rug. I was astonished. Much less than a minute and it appeared to be pristine (hairless). I ran it over the rest of the carpets and rugs and it was rather grossed out simply by all of the hair, dust, and dirt that it collected which my Bissel had been leaving all these years and years. I took off the canister with a click of the button, held it above the trash can and having a touch of the lever every thing fell away, I didn't get something on my hands and wrists. The Bissel would certainly get dust particles just about everywhere, I would really feel like I required a bath after clearing it. Also...the auto roll-up power cord...it just works astonishingly. There is an accessory which has rubberized in the end of a small wand so when I've hair on my own garments and I'm going someplace nice, I am able to simply just run it over what I am wearing and whoosh, fur is without a doubt long gone. Absolutely no more of these stupid gluey papers or container tape. I truly hope this thing holds up for awhile, it is the best vacuum cleaner for me and I'd endorse it to anybody with cats and dogs that get frustrated with hair. When our central vac method malfunctioned our office manager picked up this machine to make use of until repairs could be produced. I was totally amazed by this light-weight, simple to maneuver vac. Hair, toenail clippings, dirt all gone! We've tried other stick vacs in the clinic and they generally just push the hair and nails about the floor, or they clog up in seconds. This vac is so impressive that I ran out and purchased 1 for my six cat, 3 dog, 1 infant home. This vac has a ridiculously big quantity of suction for it is size. The suction energy, with each other with the odd looking but extremely effective v-shape front edge, pulls the hair and dirt in to the vac instead of pushing it about. It's hard to overstate the "Wow!" aspect involved as it cleans right as much as the baseboards, below the cupboard edges, pulls hair from corners and about chair legs. (I'd been utilizing the edging tool on my large upright vac to complete exactly the same things--heavy, took much more time, and didn't clean also!) All that in a light-weight vac that may be picked up one handed with out a believed. I've been zipping this around at house on our vinyl and laminate floors whilst carrying my infant daughter in her baby sling. Emptying the vac is easy and doesn't make a mess. Yet an additional fantastic function is the absence of bristles. Everybody who deals with doggie hair quickly learns that bristles are just spots for the hair to collect and drag around the house rather than going into the vac. Somebody at Bissell was doing their homework. The only downside to this vac will be the noise. It is loud. Extremely loud. But, given the suction power all that noise produces, I'm more than willing to overlook it! <a href="http://wedodirtywork.com/best-vacuums-pet-hair/">for more reviews on vacuum cleaners made for pet hair click here</a>

Need a new book to read try Surviving Harmony
I loved this book, started reading it right away and could
not stop. I got irritated when people interrupted
me. To me that is a sure fire way to tell if the book is good.
One of the other reviews did talk about the slow start after
prelude and I will have to agree, it was a little slow in the beginning.
I normally like my female main characters to be more take no
prisoners, but watching Ash (Aislin) grow and become the women you want her to
be was spectacular.
The supporting characters were wonderful; I am hoping that
Chase, Jason, and Scarlett each get their own stories.
This is not just a love story, you also have suspense and
while I normally know who the villain is, but this time I kept changing my
mind. At one point I was trying to
figure out where all of the main characters were so that I could eliminate them
from my list of suspects.
I felt so involved in the story that there were times when I
wanted to reach through the kindle and slap a few people.
I highly recommend this book, AF Diamond is a wonderful
story teller and I look forward to reading her next offering.

A dry, concrete cleaner created to cover and eliminate crude oil stains from driveway. This item consists of natural bio-organics that continue to breakdown oil for weeks after the application. Apply powder to area and spread with a stiff bristle broom. A brand new trend which has been about pretty awhile in driveways concrete petroleum oil extracting cleaners is dry driveways concrete cleaners. They're a extremely absorbent powder which include naturally occurring bacteria that consume crude oil, diesel fuel, gasoline, and kerosene. When spread onto any oil spill the powder will soak up new spills and start out functioning on older petroleum oil spills.
Remove oil stains from driveway concrete
Terminator HSD petroleum oil stains remover for driveway concrete is element of a brand new range of solutions made for consumers that happen to be each eco-friendly and just as successful as other options. The grey powder requires only to become lightly applied to the petroleum oil stained location and swept using a brush. Dry climates could demand some water to activate the micro bacteria. In as small as six days, the remedy may have worked its magic and eaten the hydrocarbons, leaving no stain behind.
My hubby's car leaks engine oil (although he swears it does not) the driveways concrete has several black puddles consequently. I heard that kitty litter ground in assists to bring it up, it did not help, neither did sand or power washing---or my father's idea, gasoline.
This solution is made use of mostly for industrial stuff, but it performs for motor oil staining in driveways and concrete driveways and concrete. It utilizes organic and harmless microbes to "eat" the engine oil instead of employing chemicals...and it demands incredibly tiny water so it's a "green" technologies. Hope this aids!
We're have become use to witnessing unattractive crude oil stains in parking lots across America. But when it comes to your own personal driveway or garage, ordinary spots come to be an eyesores. Clean up oil spills ahead of they soak deeper in to the surface with our easy ideas.
Scrubbing the crude oil out will only make the stains larger. But like any other slick situation, the key lies in absorbing the spill. For modest staining, just sprinkle a layer of more than the engine oil. Or, use cat litter for bigger staining. Use a push broom to spread the dry concrete cleaning powder or litter evenly more than the stain. Let it sit overnight. The following day, sweep away the powder or litter (which really should have absorbed the oil) and use a paper towel to blot up any residue. Its generally going to be simpler to eliminate a staining (petroleum oil or otherwise) in case you catch it as it takes place. Older motor oil stain are likely to take much more time to get rid of, and are a little more involved. Nevertheless, in some situations they present an avenue to use an exciting set of tools.
